Founder and President of HaydenTanner, Molly McCabe is consultant and international speaker on issues of sustainability, real estate and finance.  The firm focuses on the nexus of profit and sustainability, helping organizations maximize their financial returns by investing in sustainability, resource and energy efficiency.   She has more than 25 years of experience in real estate finance and business consulting.  Ms. McCabe is the author of the book: Practical Greening: The Bottom Line On Sustainable Property Development, Investment and Financing as well as several research reports.  She is a member of the Urban Land Institute's Responsible Property Investment Council and a Research Fellow for the Responsible Property Investing Center housed at Harvard University.  She is a LEED AP BD+C, mediator and corporate coach. 

Recent projects include development of a new investment vehicle for energy efficiency retrofits for commercial real estate assets –individually and on an aggregated basis, feasibility work on a district energy plan, an examination of the links between high performance buildings, value and financing; value and asset energy ratings, advisory work for real estate owners, private equity investors, regional and national consortiums and government entities. Recent clients include the U.S. Department of Energy, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance and a number of private equity and commercial real estate developer clients. Previously she founded and ran the commercial mortgaged-backed firm, Bridger Commercial Funding as well as headed of Bank of America’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group.
